Manila (Philippine Daily Inquirer/ANN) - Television network TV5 suspended the brothers of Philippine Daily Inquirer Ramon Tulfo after they threatened on their program a celebrity couple who figured in a brawl with their eldest brother Sunday, May 6.
Tulfo himself confirmed this in a radio interview, a day after the Movie and Television Review Classification Board (MTRCB) said it "found probable cause" to charge "T3 Kapatid Sagot Kita" for egging on the commission of violence.
The Tulfo brothers threatened celebrity couple Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto on their program Monday, a day after their eldest brother, Ramon, figured in a fight with Santiago and Barretto whom the columnist and radio host took pictures of as she berated a Cebu Pacific ground stewardess over their off loaded baggage on their way back to Manila from Boracay.
Many viewers complained to the MTRCB after the program, prompting the Tulfos to issue an apology on Tuesday.
